1. Our family loves to stay inside National Parks. We have visited all 56 within the continental US. Although we backpack a bit, the RV is very comfortable compared to camping out.
2. We hate the smell of hotels and the hassle of moving our luggage. We love the ability to drive until we are tired and then camp at a rest stop. I get up early and drive while most are asleep.
3. The ability to sleep, use the restroom and fix a simple lunch (sandwich, chips) while moving is great. Having a clean restroom and shower handy is wonderful for camping and for us old people who pee in the middle of the night.
Yes, we have had to repair a number of things on the RV but we love it still. By the way, RV repair centers are a nightmare - we fix everything ourselves by using Youtube videos and ordering parts online.
