I had a package that USPS marked as delivered in/at mailbox, but my mailbox was empty and I have nothing at my house. I have also checked with neighbors but so far nobody has said they got the package in error.

I submitted a missing package request, but it seems like kind of a shot in the dark so checking to see if anyone has ever actually had success with USPS being able to locate their package after it had already been marked as successfully delivered.
