Based on the success he's had as an OC and sending QBs to the NFL at a clip not seen at BYU in decades, he should be able to pick and choose elite QBs at his discretion. Instead, he's resigned to getting the 4th or 5th best QB on his recruiting priority list. It's been baffling.
