That’s what helped me with my severe depression. Medication was a last resort but after dealing with suicidal ideation, it really helped me. There are a lot of options out there with limited side effects and low dosages. I was hesitant to embrace medication but it has really helped me to not have huge dips.
Finding a hobby has been helpful too. I felt pretty empty because I was just going to work every day and nothing to look forward to. I also exercise 5 times a week now. Invested in a home gym to get myself excited about lifting which has been great.
