Ahead of programs like UConn, Arizona, Gonzaga, Michigan State, Ohio State, NC State, Louisville, Oregon, Tennessee, and Alabama. We won the NIT in 1951 and 1966 when the NIT was the premier post season tournament, finishing #1 in 1966. We also have a couple National Players of The Year, and 31 (would have been 32 if not for Covid) NCAA tournament appearances. The only knock on our resume is recent tournament success. It's intellectually lazy/dishonest to say that we aren't a winning program. We are among the winningest programs in college hoops history.
