I thoroughly enjoy the sometimes hilarious rivalry week banter, but a negative OBSESSION with the Utes is just a thinly-veiled case of little brother syndrome. I feel no such inferiority or need to berate.

There's no question about it, a certain segment of the Utah fan base is obnoxious, belligerent, even hostile. Choose your adjective. And that bigotry is more about religeon than athletics. But Utah fans don't flock to CB during a down cycle. So whose psyche's exactly are the hatemongers on here addressing? Exactly.

My focus stays on BYU. Other than rivalry week, Utah is irrelevant to me. And may their irrelevance deepen abruptly in the coming years as their sheaves bow to Joseph, their master. In the immortal words of George Washington: "Utah sucks."
