The odds of us winning one game are better as the 5 seed, because we play the 12
But the odds of getting to the semi finals is better if we have the bye week.
Example of odds if we are 5 seed:
If we have a 70% chance against the 12 seed, and we have a 50% chance of beating the 4 seed, then we have a 35% chance of winning both games and getting to the semi-finals.
Example of odds if we are a 4 seed:
If we have a 50% chance of beating the 5 seed, then we have a 50% chance of getting to the semi-finals.
Example of odds if we are 5 seed:

A home game is overrated. The extra week of rest & practice make 4 seed >>>>> 5 to 8 seed. 4 (or 3?) is our goal.
