I don't forward to 2 weeks of opinionate prognostications and media people looking at every conceivable bit of minutia related to the players and the game. Even worse is fans hurling epithets to opposing fanbases. It has had a tendency to get beyond ugly in recent years.

Hopefully the level of vitriol will be more subdued this year due to the different trajectories that both teams are on.

I wish the game could just be played this coming Saturday so both teams can just move on.
