Although I know the person who did. What I was saying is that I work with predictive models professionally so it doesn't shock me to see something like USC at #15. Yes, models and stats can be misleading in the wrong hands. I'm trying to provide context on what I think FPI does well and what I think it does not do well. Models will have strengths and weaknesses. They all are based on judgmental assumptions which are up for debate. FPI gets shared on here frequently so I thought it would be helpful to show how it actually performs over a long run time period. And the conclusion is that it performs very well.
