Yep. I just got done using a 2024 rental car for a week. When I got back into my
2002 car that I paid $8,000 for 11 years ago I didn't feel any need to update. The new car driver assist functions are annoying as heck. The stupid cruise control with the automatic braking and stupid lane warnings. I realize those are things that might have an option to disable. But they increase the price of the car for a feature I hate.

The updated media feature connecting to my phone was a nice feature. It also did about 5 mpg better on fuel. The price of that car new is $38,000.
