Also, I would think of questions. Don't overthink it, but there is an art to good questions. They arise from your own curiosity, but also from an understanding of the other person's mind. So, for example, I wouldn't ask, "how did you be so successful?" Instead, I would try to find something they can geek out about that is close to what they already think about.
