they would be ranked lower because they have not looked amazing in several of their wins, so I suspect a good amount of voters expect them to lose at some point, so it is not inconsistent for some to rank BYU highly but still expect them to lose to a "lesser opponent." Those who truly think BYU is the 11th best team in the country probably expect BYU to win handily. I'm glad we are ranked 11th but I am not certain that they are the 11th best team in the country, so I expect the rest of their games to be tough. time will tell
