Since the beginning of Independence, BYU is 9-11 playing in the Eastern Timezone. BYU has experienced crazy storms (Virginia), being shutout (Michigan), a contract to play a game 3 days before it was played (Coastal Carolina) and too many games where their season's were finished since they lost one game earlier in the year. And contracted bowl games that no matter how well they played, they were going to that bowl game.
It has been over a decade since we have travelled back east with so much on the line. What does BYU play for? To keep a perfect record in tact; a chance to rest through a bye week, so give it your all; to go into RES with a 8-0 record. Travelling East shouldn't be an issue. Many players on this team know what it feels like. With a 3:30 EST kickoff, that is a great time to play football. Go Cougs!
