Pete The Hope That Kills You
Best price I could get on a car in Seattle this summer was for a full size pickup. Figured I'd still spend less in gas
so made the reservation. Was a bit worried about parking (I have a full-size pickup and know parking in some cities is a challenge)

When we got there they offered us a Tacoma or a Camry for $5/day more. She said the Camry was a 2025 and a hybrid. I figured I could save a lot more than $5/day on gas driving a hybrid Camry, so I asked how many miles it had on it. 750 was the answer so I took it for a week.

A couple months later my wife still has brought up how much she liked it. I told her it was a perfectly acceptable car. Toyota spent the last 40 years refining it. I also told her that it was completely bland to drive. It had all the latest features/tech but it was boring from a driver perspective.
