for two reasons:
1. UCF has a stronger rushing attack than Utah or ASU, and BYU gave up 269 yards on the ground (7 ypc) at home last weekend. How are they going to avoid the same thing or worse playing on the road against the 3rd best rushing offense in the country? UCF is terrible defensively but I am not confident in the ability of our offense to outscore UCF on the road which leads to my second concern.
2. Historically, BYU has not played well on the east coast, especially in Florida. Yes, we beat UCF in the Boca Raton Bowl in 2020 but that was one of Zach Wilson’s best performances and I don’t have as much confidence in Jake Retzlaff to match that.
