Boskovic's positional strength in upper D1 play is clearly as a 4 (though he has versatility like Noah has, as well; I don't know if his footspeed is better than Noah's, but it's at least comparable, & his proportional length & strength are clearly better than Noah's; in our limited look in the Blu&White game we clearly saw a guy who's gonna play at the rim much more forcefully than did Noah.).

As for Mawot Mag — he's very likely the most versatile defender on our roster right now.

Noah Waterman will be missed personally, but as a bball talent, even if we leave Egor & Keba outa the conversation — bringing in Catchings, Mag & Boskovic made Noah I would say — entirely — expendable. If he is even just a niche player for Louisville, he'll have a better role than he's likely have by mid-season on our current roster.
