prefer to not criticize at all and don't feel a need to point out shortcomings of the players and coaches that I am a fan of. But I know that is what a lot of fans feel like message boards are for. With Etienne it seems clear that he heard the criticisms and it hurt.

Seems to me that there are plenty of other things that CB can be used for instead of criticism of individuals. Again, I'm not trying to say other fans shouldn't do it. But maybe they should think twice and make sure they really want the players and coaches that they are fans of to possibly hear the criticism they are doling out on CB.
