Running. QB runs did not exist in their offense up until the first time their QB took off, and even when their more mobile QB got hurt, the less-mobile one still had designed runs, despite never doing it before.


It’s very hard to prepare for something that didn’t exist prior.

Like, if Utah all of the sudden started running triple option during our game. I wouldn’t hold the coaches accountable for not preparing for that.
