If the other leagues beat each other up definitely, but SEC and BIG and ACC also
have a path to have 3+ 11+ win teams each

Clemson, Miami, SMU

Penn State, Oregon, Ohio State, Indiana, Illinois
(yes, they can all end up with 11+ wins) Ohio State beats Indiana and Penn State, Illinois beats Oregon, 5 11-1 teams, can you imagine the tiebreaker for a 5 team tie, crazy

Georgia, Texas, LSU, Missouri, Tennessee, Texas AM
(max would be 4 of these teams at 11-1)

throw in an 11-1 ND, and a 12-1 Boise State and there just aren't enough spots for all those teams, Big12 seems like the least respected of the P4s and would likely have the deserving team(s) left out

There could be 17 11 or 12 win 1 loss teams for only 12 spots
