I actually knew a guy on my mission who had a Cougar named Sampson. The guy was a ward missionary and a Hollywood animal trainer. I actually met the magnificent cat. Sampson was used all the time in films and TV shows. He had Massive paws and a lot could go wrong if he was around small kids and played (due to his strength). Bob knew what he was doing because of his profession.

Sampson was expensive to keep because his diet had to be raw meat. Bob kept Sampson until the cat was 22 and then turned him over to a sanctuary for retired Hollywood animals. Bob had become too old to care for him
