BYU, KSU, OSU, oregon, boise state, are all far more consistent so far and have played at a very high level.
in these playoffs, it’s going to take being consistently good for 4 weeks. i don’t see any SEC teams doing that this year. not at this point. things can change though.
i think the previous playoff and BCS championship favored the SEC a lot. consistency didn’t matter. just play one or two great games. that obviously favors the better recruiting. with a 12 team playoff, it’s going to favor better coaching.
