this year catching the dang ball but even then if you take a look we actually use the TE between 25-30% of the time. last game Darius was on fire and they couldn't guard him so he did get a lot of balls thrown his way. You go back to Oklahoma state they were target 20% of the passes and only caught two balls with some drops. Arizona they caught four balls out of a possible 9. which is good for being targeted 28 percent of the time. We have had amazing receivers since 2021, Puka Nacua, Samson, Romney, Roberts, Epps, and now Lassiter. We also had Algier out of the back field that caught passes as well. I would much rather have these amazing receivers being targeted than worry about how much we use the **** TE.
