I was going through one of those iPhone slide shows and was reminded of the time I took my wife and two older sons to a week in Philadelphia/NYC in November 2021. Our first full day in Philadelphia we rode bikes around the city stopping at the Temple and then the Art Museum. One of my sons likes Creed but has never really been into Rocky movies. I told them we would just quickly stop so I could get a picture next to the Rocky statue. They were not happy, but who cares.

As we walked up to the statute we noticed an older gentlemen with some handlers. There weren't many people around so I got closer and noticed it was Burt Young who played Paulie in the Rocky movies. He was gracious enough to take a picture with my wife and I next to the statue. So many things had to perfectly align for that to happen to us. Still one of my favorite pictures.

He passed away a little less than 2 years after our picture.
