It worked out cause non of our guys caught on, but OkSt having all of their o-linemen dive to the ground in unison and stay there for a second seems like it should have been a dead giveaway to our defense that a trick play was coming. I think I know why they did it that way. It keeps all of their guys in line so that non of them go off script and start getting downfield early, but still. If you see an entire o-line take a dive in unison, look around cause something's up.


I also loved his description of the o-line on such plays cause it's so true. Those guys get out there, get excited, and forget to block people which is their one and only job. So they coached them up that the goal of the o-line wasn't to run to the end zone. The goal for the o-line was to go block the first defender they saw. Always amazes me when you see a defender who runs right past guys who are supposed to be blocking on a screen play but non of them do.
