It wasn’t a ticket for each ride. It was a book with tickets labeled A thru E. A few of each. Matterhorn was an E ticket
It’s where the phase “an E ticket ride” came from.
An A ticket was good for a Main St. trolley. A C ticket got you on the Autopia.
There weren’t enough tickets in the book to get you on every ride in the park.
Nor enough E tickets to get on every E ticket ride.
If I recall correctly, A B ticket got you on Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln.
