The tweet is inaccurate, yes, but still speaks a couple of truths.
I should have read the tweet better before posting it, because yes, Utah beat Florida last year and Baylor this year. Also, the reference to their best season being 8 wins refers to winning the Pac12 and going to the rose bowl which seems to matter so much to Ute fans. I agree that their best seasons were 2004/2008.

So the tweet is inaccurate.

That being said, it speaks some truths:
- Utah has not been a good team outside of the Pacific/Mtn time zones over the last 12 years.
- They do take way too much credit for 8-4 seasons, and for winning a weak Pac12
- And yes, they beat BYU most of the time in the last 12 years, but usually only by one touchdown despite having a 12 year head start on P5 money. They wanted the talent gap to be immense, but it never was. They didn't create separation when they had the chance, and now things are balanced out. So while Utah will still be decent in the future, their glory years, IMO, are in the past.
