I also want a long term path to BYU being relevant on a national level. For that to happen the Big 12 needs to be relevant. For the Big 12 to be relevant, we need to go and win a playoff game or two. Lets not forget that we are fighting against the BiG and the SEC. They will do everything they can to strangle us. (On and off the field) If the Big 12 were to lose in the playoffs year after year, those other conferences won't need any help strangling us, we'll do it ourselves. All that being said, if BYU goes to the playoff, win or lose, I will be thrilled that we made it that far. This is a special team we have this year. I really do believe that the Big 12 is very solid and has what it takes to start competing with the other conferences.
