Nobody picked up the ball....

If a defender had picked it up, the ball would have gone to them. Instead, UCF got the ball at the 1 yard line and scored on the next play.

I didn’t see the UCF new pick six last night. Did the ball go out of bounds?

No one picked it up so UCF got possession at the 1/2 yard line

Did not go out of bounds, but they did not immediately recover. So ball was placed at the one.

If no one recovers the ball, they place it at the location it was fumbled. Fumbling team keeps possession,
