That's all there is to it. We have an excellent WR room, and have for several years. There's no reason to make an inferior player playing a less valuable position a feature of the offense when we have better playmakers in more important positions.

I don't understand the hand-wringing all over cougarboard about this. Our best TE moved to that position because he was gonna be buried on the depth chart at WR. And they still get a few targets a game.

This is just modern football. Tight End is a dying position.
