Without the benefit of film, I’ll put this out there:
Overall Defense: C
Rushing Defense: D - poor run defense. LOTS of players not playing assignment sound, especially D ends giving up the edges
Pass Defense: Solid B - would be an A except for all the yards given in the screen/sort game

Overall Offense: Solid B - 38 is solid but with many mistakes
Rushing Offense: A - we can win the Big 12 with a rushing offense like this
Passing Offense: B- Too many INTs and the ridiculous trick play. Did Ropati look better than this in practice? IMHO that was a very poor call given the situation. Sometimes it’s best to make a team stop your base offense before resorting to tricks. Would be a D except for the very timely and game winning long balls.

Overall impression - Retzlaff had a decent game. Only one pick really hurt. Shocked at the number of plays where our defenders were out of position - this is two weeks in a row and I’m sure the coaching staff will be all over this.
