I fully understand why teams substitute defenders after the offense substitutes but I noticed this year, and especially last night that when BYU employs this strategy, the guy(s) that come in, are unprepared and don’t know where they are supposed to be or what the defensive play call is. I wonder if it is having the effect the coaches are hoping it will have.
