Rules experts: what was the ref doing on our 3rd PAT?
On the PAT after our third TD (5:51 in the 3rd quarter), the OSU nose guard shifts to his left pre-snap and the ref actively repositions him, moving him about a foot to his left.
What was that all about? Is it illegal to line up over the deep snapper? And if so, can the ref really move him to avoid the penalty?
