We are in an era where people pay for "experiences". Live football is one of
the greatest experiences there is, win or lose.
I was at the Rose Bowl to watch BYU get killed by UCLA in 93, 68-14. It was a long miserable game, made worse because BYU was higher ranked and we went into the game thinking BYU would win.
In spite of the misery, it was a memorable experience and I am glad I went.
Heartbreak and suffering make a fan as much as success.
