They have never been short on talent but they have been surprisingly bad at putting it altogether. They destroyed the BYU dline in the trenches on the delayed runs and handoffs out of pistol. It takes very good RBs with patience and vision to execute that. Very tough to counter on a short week.

This was a wake up call. BYU has to recruit much better in this conference to sustain success. The stellar play in the trenches won't always hold up if they are not able to bring in better dudes. Luckily we have some in the pipeline from the last couple classes. A lot of young guys still bulking up or on missions.
