when I look down and to the right at the dash-screen because it beeped for something else entirely. Too many of those and I get put in autosteer timeout.

I'm far-sighted, so for whatever reason I don't see near as well looking "down my nose" as when my head is tilted more downward, looking "under my brow." So I'm kinda right on the edge of it yelling at me for having my head down in the best of circumstances.

And, while I concede I do sometimes have my phone out when the car is in autosteer, I'm not ignoring the road at all.

So, so as not to get my chauffer taken away from me, I don't give it the option to critique my head-position.
