Went back to my tracker and last year BYU had 10,511 yards available and gained 3,717 (or 35.4%).
In 2022, they had 10,145 available and gained 5,537 (54.8%)
In 2021, they had 10,219 available and gained 5,878 (57.5%)
In 2020, they had 9,572 available and gained 6,266 (65.5%)
In 2019, they had 11,324 available and gained 5,769 (50.9%)
In 2018, they had 11,181 available and gained 4,734 (42.3%)
In 2017, they had 10,884 available and gained 4,288 (39.4%)
In 2016, they had 10,974 available and gained 5,191 (47.3%)

So if that's the a stat that's worth anything, than there could be argument that this is BYU's 5th best offense under Kalani. So yep, a pretty average offense.
