I was just in Utah last weekend & paid the same for 87 there as I pay at Costco
in Orange County (the one in Fountain Valley). I was shocked at how expensive gas is in Utah.
Utah does sell that 85 stuff because of elevation, which isn’t available in California or most other states, and that one is cheaper. But if you compare equal octane levels, the difference is pretty modest, or even non-existent (depending on the gas station).
