Sims is experienced & was a solid pickup. When he came in during the game, an announcer confused him w Safety Simmons
on the D — & introduced him as being the son of a former BYU LB & current coach (Dennis Simmons — from the late 90s).
I have the honors of having been swatted & dunked on by Dennis in some pickup days in the RB back in the day. (I did strip him a few times — & he took it pretty personal. 😉 . Actually, he was a very nice guy, otherwise.)

That sucks, I feel for them. The good news for them is that Sims did a good job during his limited time vs Utah.
