to get off the field. May be I am too scared from the 18-play drives of the past so my POV is skewed, but seems like as the season goes on we aren't holding many teams to 3-6 play drives and a punt, but letting them get 60+% 3rd down conversion rates. Again, maybe that isn't that bad for that stat, but would like to get that below 50%, below 40% really helps the offense. Offense needs to sustain drives for all 4 qtrs, seems like we struggle a bit there, too.
HOWEVER, I am loving this season and this team. They have a fight and a spirit in them that we haven't seen in a while and I love how focused, but also how loose, they are playing. Each game reminds me a bit of the BYU win at Wisconsin. I was at that game and the team was focused, but also loose and having fun. Couldn't keep it up for the whole season that year, but this whole season so far has that vibe and I am loving it. Hopefully they can keep playing with a bit of a chip on their shoulder, be focused while also playing loose and bringing home the victories. At the end of the day, the W-L stat is the most important and they are killing it there!
