My experience taught me just to accept
some things and move on. They will win.

They found a discrepancy because my CPA transposed some numbers.

I agreed and paid the $500 dollars plus interest and penalty.
Didn't end there, audited contributions, then interest. Found nothing.
Then expenses. There they decided to disallow some businesses expenses because it was a relative. He/She generated 20 times what I expensed.
I decided to fight it. My CPA said let me meet with them. Knowing you, if you are there it won't go well. After spending 3 times the deduction benefit, my CPA said it will cost you more and more. So I settled. 🫤
