In place through your work or Aflac? Those types of policies will typically pay out 10, 20, or 30k for a type 1 diabetes diagnosis as long as you’re not currently diagnosed. Getting a type 1 diagnoses wouldn’t be any fun but at least you’d have $30,000 in your bank account
