When the next round of consolidation happens I think BYU is close. If it's a P3 or a P2 NFL lite at 48 teams then yes I think BYU is in.

BYU has the stadium and the revenue and the fan base to be top 48 for sure.

If it's a P2 Elite plan at 36 teams, I'm nervous BYU doesn't make it. I think BYU has top 36 stadium and overall sports and revenue...but not the political power. There will be a few school who make it because powerful alumni wield power in the dark rooms to get their alma mater in.
