The contrast is to have coaches no body wants (to the extreme, yes, but to make the point) and what kind of a program do you have then. We should be in a situation where coaches both want to come here and have coaches that others are clamoring for.
I thought i did have in thinking about the possibility of Jay leaving is considering Dave Aranda. He is a good defensive coach and as the right temperament to fit in at BYU. The long term plan, I think, is to be preparing Poppinga to be the head guy one day. Another one to consider would be Gilford. Everything i hear about him seems to indicate he has a good eye / mind for defense. He did call the play that led to the interception at the end of the Baylor game.
