athletics has run in the black since the beginning of time, which means no debt. We may not be making as much as the Big 10 and SEC schools just yet, but some of them are paying >$25 million per year in interest on their debt.

BYU athletics is going to have plenty of cash to pay whoever earns it, and I think that the president/board are finally on the same page that it's okay to spend as needed.
