CB has provided me 15 years of engagement with fandom, smiles and occasionally even life-enriching information and ideas. I have purposefully never posted (even though I finally made an account a few years ago) because knowing myself, I knew I'd jump head-first down the slippery slope into full-bore cougarboard addiction. Here's looking at you, TNT ;). And for the last eight months I haven't read CB a single time because I have a new very busy church calling and decided CB is something I can give up altogether to scrape out time for my calling.

But I have temporarily come out of my no-CB period to write that first (...only...?) post to ask:

Is there someone who would be willing to sell me 2-3 tickets to Friday's game with only a reasonable markup? I'd be best if I could pay <$75 each if possible. I'm thinking of surprising my remaining kids at home (16-year-old son and 12-year-old daughter if she wants to go) with a drive to Utah from NM for the game. Our only game we could get to last year (and my kids' first in Lavell Edwards Stadium) was Iowa State, so we need some therapy...

(...of course, if you can go to the game, GO!!!!, but if not...)

(As an aside, as I was loading CB to write this inaugural (and possibly sole) post, I saw someone criticizing the length of The Cut. I actually had watched that this morning and was really impacted by it. There are many people who make great game-only highlight videos (CougarLucas' videos rock, for example!!), but The Cut is something more: it translates football to LIFE. I am definitely going to show this most recent The Cut to my youngest two kids, showing them what hard work, teamwork, love, and respect for those who have sacrificed to get you where you are can lead to. Fantastic video. Love love loved it. Keep 'em coming, BYUCougars.)
