to not recognize that people that come to Provo and are won over by the atmosphere and experience not because it’s intimidating or knows how get under the skin of their opponents and fans, but rather because it is fun, wholesome entertainment, that clearly can rattle opponents still but be fun for everyone. We don’t have to boo the opponents or say nasty things to them to have an impact and by staying true to ourselves (meant as a comment independent of religion and more meant as a good, contributing human being) we make it fun for everyone. It’s why people are saying the experience is a bucket list experience. It’s why visiting fans are hearing about and making it a point to come to their team’s game in Provo. It why Drake Toll, Sean Farnham and other independent sports journalists all are willing to go out of their way to talk up the experience. I just think it’s cool, that as a collective fanbase we are having and creating some of the best environments in college sports without ‘checking our religion at the door’ to do so.
Go Cougs!
