…we’re solidly in the middle with regards to returning minutes and production. Iirc our HS recruiting class was 3rd in the Big12. We went more for HS and Euro players than transfer portal guys but our composite rating isn’t as high as it actually should be because we have Euro guys who don’t have composite ratings.

With our transfer portal guys we went for specific need (defense and athleticism) and I think we nailed it so while it might not be very highly rated we got what we needed from the portal.

All in all we significantly increased the talent level of our roster and maintained some continuity from last year. We’ll be better than most people are expecting.

As for the coaching concerns we have a nice mix of experience including several coming from much more competitive levels to coach here. I think we’ll be fine.
