With that language, why wouldn't they go after Hill? May as well not have even bothered with that "agreement" it's like a mutual option in a baseball contract and worthless. Only downside is Scalley's feelings get hurt and maybe he coaches somewhere else - but who cares if they get Hill.
Seems like they wouldn't even have to pay a buyout, and it's as good as no contract for Scalley to be the HC and, dare I say? a non-committable offer.
