It sounds to me like BYU probably put some kind of escalators in his contract but those closest to the program are not concerned at all with him leaving.

I know for a fact that some of our larger donors are not going to let him leave over money. There is more than enough of that to go around right now. If something happens and he leaves it will be for some other reason.
