Other than a coaching change, you just described most of the teams in the Big12
Every team has undergone massive player changes this past off-season. We’re pretty much in the same boat with the rest of the conference there.

As for the new coaching staff concerns, I wonder how overblown that is. KY and much of his staff is dropping down a level or two to coach at this level and they’ve put together a staff with nice diversity of experience (D-1, G-League, NBA, FIBA/Olympics/National Team, etc). If a college coach dropped down to coach at your old high school would you worry he couldn’t handle it or that he’d not be able to adjust to coaching at that level?

Even thought KY gave a little coach-speak about the difference between 20 min halves vs 12 min quarters and learning to do new sub patterns I don’t think that’s really all that big of a deal. I think our staff is capable of picking up the nuances of coaching at this level.
